(((ALPHA draft status only - this is nowhere near ready for consideration or general editing yet!)))

(This should not duplicate rules/CoC content but is meant as more of a Makerspace 101 / introduction.)

References should be made to other pages where needed to avoid excess content duplication.

Box Storage Guidelines

Each member is entitled to a box; your box must be clearly labelled with your full name or a unique nickname.

Things you SHOULD NOT store in your box

Dangerous / Flammable Chemicals. These can be stored with Committee permission under the sink, in sensible and labelled containers, for no longer than needed.

Lithium batteries need to be in a safe charging-bag; Lithium charging bags are cheap; http://bit.ly/1H9qTq9 - See also, Rule Zero.

Perishable food - this can be stored in the kitchen, ideally with a label including your name and date left.

Large Projects

If you’re taking up a lot of space with a project, you should ask someone from the Committee for permission to store the item. Oversized items need to be clearly labelled with your name, and there is an assumption that they are being worked on. We don't want to have a Space full of abandoned projects!
